These resins may be impact modified, weatherable and/or Ultraviolet (UV) stabilized It covers injection molding types for manufacturing of technical parts requiring high structural stiffness.

Symbols.

The material abbreviation according to ISO 11469.

Applicability.

Typical applications include the following: floor console, instrument panel carriers, battery covers, sunroof wind deflectors as well as interior and exterior Molded-in-Color (MIC) components requiring high structural stiffness.

Remarks.

The classification into groups is according to the different ranges of glass fiber content.

Code letters and Class at the end of the callout indicate the following:

• E – Impact Modified.

• Class-U – Ultraviolet Light Stabilized. If no Class-U is noted, the material is not UV stabilized and not appropriate for interior MIC applications.
