This standard shall define the Design Validation (DV), Product Validation (PV), measurement conditions, performance requirements and the minimum durability specification requirements of various forms of Auxiliary Oil Cooler (AOC) heat exchangers. This may include automatic transmission oil-to-air coolers and/or engine oil-to-air coolers with fluids listed in 1.4.
