Purpose/Material Description.
This specification describes material grades of a blend of polypropylene and an elastomer, mineral filled, heat stabilized, Ultraviolet (UV) stabilized, pellet form, injection molding compounds, used in interior applications. For the purpose of this specification, polyolefin alloy is defined as an alloy of Polypropylene (PP) plastic and an elastomer for impact modification, also known as thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO). This material may be molded in color or painted.

The material abbreviations according to ISO 11469 are listed in Table 1.
Applicability.
Typical applications include the following: Interior trim, instrument panel top pad.
